Plants are wonderful things to have in the house, and flower bearing plants, more so as they are pretty and fragrant. But did you know that many plants and even some fruits are poisonous to cats? Even something as pretty and benign as the day lily, the japanese lily, aloe plants, garlic, apples and even oranges can cause liver failure, vomiting, shortness of breath and eventually lead to a violent horrible death for the cat (if inhaled or ingested in larger quantities).
