It was just another ordinary Sunday afternoon in this suburb in Florida, when all of a sudden things took a sudden turn for the worst.

This little boy was riding his tricycle in his driveway while mom was tending to the garden, when suddenly out of nowhere a pitbull dog emerged and started a vicious attack on the unsuspecting little boy.

Luckily, this hero cat was just around the corner. A dramatic fight and rescue ensues.

ABC News reports that both the boy and the cat are alive and well, with no major injuries. No sign of the pitbull dog.
