Cats are known to have a very keen sense of smell, sight and other things that humans don’t possess. But this ordinary cat at a nursing home in Providence has an extraordinary ability. The cat can “smell” death in people and he goes and sits next a person he can smell that in, and comforts them on their way to the other side of life. Initially doctors thought it was a coincidence, then they observed him and realized Oscar the cat did indeed possess the rare ability to smell the body odour and chemical changes that a human exhibits when they are about to die / pass away.
